Namibia: Bachmus launches its first Caltex-Branded service station in Namibia

Bachmus Oil and Fuel Supplies (Pty) Ltd has announced the official launch of its first Caltex-branded service station in Namibia, expanding the company’s journey to deliver world-class fuel and customer service to Namibian motorists.

Located in the Southern Industrial area, Windhoek, the newly rebranded service station will operate under the globally recognized Caltex brand, known for its high-quality fuels and lubricants, advanced fuel additives, and customer-first approach. This partnership with Chevron Brands International LLC brings a premium fuel retail experience to Namibia and reaffirms Bachmus’ commitment to innovation and excellence.

“This is a proud and historic moment for Bachmus,” said Corne Schalkwyk, Managing Director of Bachmus. “The Caltex brand holds a special place in the hearts of Namibians, and we are honoured to lead its return — not just as a symbol, but as a promise of consistent quality, superior service, and local empowerment. This is just the beginning of our retail journey, and we are excited to roll out more Caltex-branded service stations across Namibia.”

The rebranded site will offer Caltex with Techron®, a premium fuel formulated to clean engine parts and enhance performance. Customers will also have access to Caltex-branded lubricants, and modern convenience retail offerings — all designed to deliver world-class customer experience.

The launch event, attended by senior executives from Bachmus, Chevron, industry leaders, and local dignitaries, showcased the strength of this partnership and the joint commitment to raising standards in Namibia’s fuel retail industry. Renewable energy solutions

“We are proud to partner Bachmus in bringing the Caltex brand back to Namibia,” said Danielle Lincoln, Vice President of Chevron International Products. “Chevron is committed to deliver superior quality and reliable energy solutions to Namibian motorists. By leveraging the strength of the Caltex brand, our objective is to position Caltex as a leading and trusted name in fuel solutions within the region. We are committed to meeting the energy needs of our customers and fostering long-term market presence. We believe Bachmus is the right partner to carry this legacy forward.”

The return of the Caltex fuel brand represents renewed investment in Namibia’s energy sector and consumer market, offering both economic and employment opportunities as Bachmus expands its national footprint.
