GOGO GALILEO HDX CONNECTIVITY NOW OFFERED ON CESSNA CITATION CJ4 GEN3

Customers taking delivery of the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3 business jet can now opt to have the Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity solution installed, providing an advanced global in-flight connection. The CJ4 Gen3, announced in October 2024, is scheduled to enter service in 2026.

Designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, the Citation CJ4 Gen3 now offers passengers the benefits of Gogo’s proven AVANCE platform combined with the Gogo Galileo HDX system. Featuring a fuselage-mounted HDX antenna and a global low-Earth orbit (LEO) solution, the system ensures a low-latency, high-speed connection, allowing passengers to remain online and productive throughout the flight – regardless of their location.

“Cessna Citation business jets are known for their luxury and productivity,” said Lannie O’Bannion, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “Whether for work or entertainment, this robust solution ensures customers’ in-flight experience is as connected as their life on the ground.”

Gogo connectivity systems have been installed on Citation aircraft for more than two decades. The Gogo Galileo HDX option was also announced in October 2024 for new Citation Longitude, Citation Latitude, and Citation Ascend jets.

The Citation CJ4 Gen3 is the largest aircraft in the light jet segment to hold single-pilot certification. Known for its speed, range, and operating economics, it supports a variety of missions including corporate transport, air ambulance, maritime patrol, search and rescue, and aerial survey. Equipped with Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics, Garmin Emergency Autoland, and Garmin Autothrottles, the CJ4 Gen3 offers intuitive control, enhanced safety, and precision.

The aircraft features a maximum range of 2,165 nm, a payload capacity of 2,200 pounds, seating for up to 11 occupants, and 1,040 pounds of baggage capacity, combining versatility with superior performance.
