Graco expands its Quantm electric double diaphragm pump line

The latest release addresses key industry challenges with 480V input power and Xtreme Torque (XT) motor technology.

With a focus on increased efficiency and reliability, the unique Xtreme Torque motor design dramatically reduces the weight and size of the pump – and makes it far easier to deploy and maintain. The recently added 480V power range also creates more opportunities for cost-saving drop-in replacements for current pumps.

Quantm electric double diaphragm (EODD) pumps are purpose-built to match the needs of today’s factories.

“Engineers, plant operators and C-level leaders in the markets we serve want hard evidence before they make a change on their lines,” said Paul Treml, vice president of marketing for Graco. “Adoption of Quantm has grown rapidly because our customers are seeing measurable improvements in four key areas – reliability, productivity, energy costs and plant noise. Innovation drives progress and Quantm pumps equip companies with breakthrough technology to exceed expectations with every customer and stakeholder.”

The benefits of Quantm include energy and cost savings: simplified maintenance: improved safety: and that it is built for automation. Quantm is also a convenient drop-in replacement because of its plug-and-play design and compatibility with existing 110V, 240V or 380V/480V power outlets.

“It’s an incredibly versatile pump,” said Matthew Bergman, global product manager, for Graco. “It’s a perfect fit for a wide range of industrial and hygienic applications. Thanks to the energy savings, the pump can pay for itself in less than 12 months – and it qualifies for governmental funding and rebates. We’re seeing strong adoption across all vertical and geographic markets, and we expect that to increase in the coming years.”
